How it works:
You will have a private lesson with Victoria in her Atlanta studio. The teacher, however, will be you! Victoria will be the student, and you will teach her just like you would your workshop students through demos and explanations. (Victoria promises to ask mostly intelligent questions and not be the student from hell.)
The session will last 6-7 hours (one day) and will include lunch. The session and certification process is for one technique at a time (Eastern repousse or Russian filigree).
What you need to qualify:
- A body of work (minimum 8 pieces) in either Eastern repousse or Russian filigree that demonstrates advanced technical skill. This work should be at a level beyond the basic projects on Victoria's DVDs.
- Your artwork should also reflect your own voice and originality.
- You may submit photos or links via email to qualify.
- Experience as a teacher in other areas of metalsmithing or fine craft (please list in email)

Travel and Accommodations:
Victoria's studio is conveniently located near downtown Atlanta, 20 minutes north of Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. There is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast 1 block to the west of her studio and a number of restaurants and attractions within a 5 minute drive and a few within walking distance. If you are traveling from more than 2 hours away by car, please consider arriving in Atlanta the day before your session.

**Payment and completion of a session do not guarantee the bestowal of certification. All benefits of certification are dependent upon performance, including the ability to communicate effectively the technique and any relevant safety information.
If certification is awarded, the assessment and certificate will be mailed within 2 weeks of the session.
