At
first glance, the projects seem complex, but Lansford's straightforward
instructions break the projects into easy parts. The video
production is homey and unpretentious and it makes you feel
like you're taking private lessons in the artisan's own studio.-
Nanz Aalund Art Jewelry magazine, Nov 2007
The
images on the DVD are up close so you can really get a good
look at exactly what she is doing, and she calmly talks you
through each step... The 2 1/2 hour DVD is a resource you'll
probably watch over and over again ....-

Project III:
Hollow Bead
It
is a very old technology of course, but by the way in which
you have brought it to light, it takes a refreshing approach
in a learning and applicable direction. This is good for the
learning curve of the students in the jewelry arts, to show
that we should respect the artisans and their contributions
from much earlier times, and not to get caught up in just the
"new" methods of application and materials.-Chris

I
wish to compliment you on the wonderful DVD you and your production
crew produced to introduce your method, knowledge, and vision
for Russian Filigree. The DVD demonstrates, so honestly, your
dedication, skill and techniques that you have given to master
this artful jewelry. You hold back nothing and give so much.
This is the best teaching DVD that I have purchased in a long
time. Thank you once more for the opportunity to learn from
you. Cordially, Dolores

I think the DVD is exceptionally well done. I am new to metalworking,
simple fusing and hammering of fine silver is all I have done
so far, and I almost feel ready to tackle filigree after viewing
your DVD! Your instructions on tools, and especially preparing
the wire and powdered solder are perfect for a newbie like
me. Step by step detail for the projects was also great, again
very understandable, even for a newbie. Great work!- Cheryl Van Dyke, Tennessee
