Once in a Lifetime Find

Russian Filigree and Roman Chain Necklace
Sterling-Platinum Silver, Fine Silver, Freshwater Pearl
2-1/4" long x 1-1/4" wide, 22" chain
© 2007, V. Lansford; Commission

This pearl materialized in a bite of oyster dressing during one family's Thanksgiving dinner, and the man, who found it (and who thankfully didn't break a tooth!), asked me to create a pendant with it for his wife. In order to show it off, I caged it within a Russian filigree basket that dangles within the inside ellipse.
